Sunburst on Godwin Glacier
In the year 1850 Godwin Glacier calved icebergs into Resurrection Bay waters. Now a days Godwin is a valley glacier accessible by plane or helicopter where Seward Helicopter Tours and Turning Heads Kennel operate dogsledding tours in the summer months.
Seen in the background is a helicopter and dog camp set up on the glacier.
Metal prints are created using high heat to fuse the image with the eco-friendly, 100% post-consumer recycled, ChromaLuxe aluminum surface which gives the photograph amazing depth and clarity as well as making it lightweight and extremely durable. No mat, no glass, no frame needed.
All metal prints come ready to hang with a float mount added to the back at no additional cost.
*Note on Finishes:
Gloss: Gives a look of almost glass and is highly reflective. I personally prefer this finish because of the extreme clarity and depth. However, if you choose this finish please be mindful of where you hang the print because it will reflect windows and drop lights.
Matte: Much less reflective with a 'softer' look. If your space has drop lights or if you are choosing to hang the print on a wall opposite a window, I highly recommend the matte finish.
